About Course

The pre-requisite component of all formats of the ALS course ensures that candidates have read the reading materials provided, and have accessed some of the online learning materials that are core to successfully passing the ALS course. Students are required to correctly answer all 20 MCQ questions provided to pass the pre-requisite component of the course. Multiple attempts are allowed. This is meant to guide students toward using the provided learning materials in order to obtain the basic core knowledge required for the course.

The pre-requisite component of all formats of the ALS course ensures that candidates have read the reading materials provided, and have accessed some of the online learning materials that are core to successfully passing the ALS course. Students are required to correctly answer all 20 MCQ questions provided to pass the pre-requisite component of the course. Multiple attempts are allowed. This is meant to guide students toward using the provided learning materials in order to obtain the basic core knowledge required for the course.

Online Examination 20 MCQ – allow multiple unlimited attempts; but only pass if ALL answers are correct. No answers given after each attempt; but the question answered wrongly will be informed to the student. 

WHEN PASSED PRE-REQUISUITE COMPONENT, they get FULL ACCESS to all online materials and videos; before joining course of their choice.

REFRESHER 1-DAY COURSE

The Refresher 1-day course is an abbreviated 1-day course built-on online learning of concepts, revision of previous knowledge and updates in guidelines and standards of care. It is meant for clinicians who have previously successfully passed the ALS course and would like to renew their certification and / or update their knowledge and practice of resuscitation. It concentrates on team training in clinical scenarios which are specific to the student; aiming for a high degree of translation of learning into clinical practice.
